The Bible says that "Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him" (Ps. 127:3 ESV). Here at Cornerstone we provide quality children's programming that you can have confidence in. Jesus used children as an example when talking about faith (Lk. 18:15-17). We believing that investing in children is the future of the kingdom of God. We provide two weekly programs for children as well as different trips, events, and programs that happen at fixed times throughout the year.
Wednesday Nights - Adventure Club
6:30-8:00pm, age 4 through 5th grade (during school year)
Adventure Club is all about adventure! Each night students learn about their Bible lesson through Bible study, Bible memory, skill building activities and a game time. The various activities students do through the night are interwoven to provide a holistic approach to Bible learning. The learning environment is focused with these five elements in mind:
Club members work together to earn awards for Bible study, memory, and skill activities. Students can use these award points to visit the "Treasure Chest" three times a year. The year ends with a Pinewood Derby that is great fun for students and adults.
Good News Club
Currently, Cornerstone supports after school Good News Clubs which meet every other week at Lincoln and McKinley during the school year. Each week an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press is presented. This action-packed time also includes songs, Scripture memory, a missions story, and review games or other activities focused on the lesson's theme. Each club includes a clear presentation of the Gospel and an opportunity for children to trust Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Every club also includes strong discipleship training to build character and strengthen moral and spiritual growth. All children are encouraged to attend a local church. Contact the church office for specific details of when the club meets.
